We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Science with proven experience delivering GCSE Science.  This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dynamic, supportive, and professional teaching team dedicated to providing an exceptional educational experience for students in our vibrant and forward-thinking school.

The role

This teaching role, for a January 2026 start, offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator to deliver engaging and high-quality lessons that inspire a love of learning across all key stages. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering effective lessons, setting high expectations to deepen students’ understanding and maximise their achievement. They will use assessment data to inform planning and adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, aspirational, and committed to contributing to the wider success of the school community through collaboration and continuous professional development.

The ideal candidate 

  • Have experience delivering high-quality Science lessons across all three disciplines (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) at Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Use data effectively to inform planning, monitor progress, and set aspirational targets for students
  • Be committed to developing and sharing outstanding teaching practices within a collaborative team environment
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in partnership with students, parents, colleagues, the academy council, and the wider community
  • Show a strong commitment to inclusive teaching and learning, ensuring all students are supported and challenged
  • Exhibit genuine motivation and enthusiasm for working with young people, fostering a positive and inspiring classroom culture
