Science Technician – Secondary School – West London
A mixed secondary school in West London is seeking to appoint a Science Technician to join their science department. This position is to start immediately on a full time permanent Basis.
You will be expected to set up and maintain laboratory apparatus, prepare experiments and analyse and record data. Additionally, you will be required to ensure that health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times.
The Ideal Candidate
You will have
- Some experience working as a science technician
- A science degree or equivalent
- A strong science background
- Strong organisational skills
- The ability to working independently and in a team
Pupils demonstrate good attitudes towards learning. Their behaviour is good. Pupils attend school regularly and are very rarely late. They conduct themselves well in lessons and around the school.
On rare occasions, pupils become distracted in lessons. This is typically when they are not being challenged in their learning Staff are well supported by leaders and enjoy working at the school.
They receive high- quality training which helps them to become more effective in their work. The quality of teaching, learning and assessment is good overall. Pupils are well prepared for life in modern Britain. They receive high-quality careers advice and guidance.
The school has been awarded a Good Ofsted status.
