A wonderful alternative provision are seeking an inspiring and dedicated Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) to join their dynamic and inclusive school community in West London. This is a unique opportunity to lead a SEND provision and make a real difference in the lives of pupils.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee the school’s SEND strategy and provision.
- Lead on the identification of children with SEND, ensuring appropriate support plans are in place.
- Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to support pupils’ needs.
- Ensure compliance with the SEND Code of Practice and other relevant legislation.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to teaching staff on inclusive practices.
- Manage the SEND budget effectively to provide resources and interventions.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold the NASENCo qualification (or be willing to work towards it).
- Have experience working with children with SEND in a primary school setting.
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice.
- Possess strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
