Nursery Practitioner – Barnet – Immediate Start
We are seeking to hire an inspiring and dynamic Nursery Practitioner to start within a leading independent prep school in Barnet! As an essential member of the Junior School, the successful candidate will engage and motivate our children, helping them reach their full potential.
The role
You will be responsible for planning and leading engaging learning experiences, which includes documenting observations and assessing children's development stages to inform your planning. You will also be collaborating as part of a team, and help maintain a supportive environment, employing initiative, creativity, and patience to nurture the children's overall development.
The ideal Nursery Practitioner
- Hold a Level 3 (or above) or equivalent in Early Years
- Experience working in an Early Years setting is desirable
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and pedagogy.
- Proven ability to engage children in learning through effective communication and a deep understanding of their needs.
- Serve as a positive role model.
- Maintain a flexible, "can do" attitude.
- Demonstrate a passion for working with young children
Salary will be dependent on previous experience and relevant qualifications.
