Learning Support Assistant
Description

We are looking for teaching and learning support assistants to work within an excellent  school located in West London to start in September.

The school are open to graduates who wish to become teachers in the future or candidates who have relative experience working within an appropriate SEND department.

 

The Role

You will work closely with the SENCO and other experienced professionals providing support and guidance to children in the classroom.

  • To assist subject teachers and tutors in form & break
  • By enhancing the provision for students by taking responsibility for specific long-term projects or short-term learning activities
  • support teachers in monitoring pupils and assessing, recording, and reporting on pupil achievement, progress, and development

 

The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Experience and knowledge of working with SEND pupils with learning differences (Desirable)
  • The ability to support your key students in multiple settings: 1 on 1, within groups and inside the classroom environment
  • To be friendly and professional in your approach to your work
  • You must have excellent time management and organizational skills
  • You must always carry yourself in a friendly and professional manner
  • To use your initiative and to be a leading example for pupils
