We are working alongside a highly popular and overachieving secondary school Camden to appoint a keen and experienced History teacher to join their growing and devoted humanities department from January 2025.  

The role
As the successful History teacher, your role will consist of teaching History across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.  This role would appeal to a dynamic ECT or an experienced History Teacher who lives and breathes History, as well as being committed to encouraging engagement of pupils in History lessons to boost their passion for the subject, as well as enhancing achievement rates across all levels.

The ideal History Teacher
The school believes the quality of staff is crucial to pupils’ success and therefore the successful History Teacher must have the following:

  • Degree in History or an appropriate related subject
  • Ability to teach History across KS3/KS4
  • A genuine interest in History, and the ability to motivate and inspire interest in the subject area
