Early Years Teaching Assistant – Wandsworth – Immediate Start
We are seeking an Early Years Teaching Assistant to become a part of a growing co-educational independent prep school in Wandsworth! This is a full-term, permanent role that is set to begin as soon as possible.
The role

Your role will involve supporting teaching in our Nursery and Reception classes. You will need to combine excellent communication skills with a genuine commitment to inspiring and supporting children, fostering their enthusiasm for learning.
The ideal Early Years Teaching Assistant
- Hold a Level 2 (or above) or equivalent in Early Years or Teaching Assistance
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and pedagogy.
- Proven ability to engage children in learning through effective communication and a deep understanding of their needs.
- Serve as a positive role model.
- Maintain a flexible, "can do" attitude.
- Demonstrate a passion for working with young children.
Salary will be dependent on previous experience and relevant qualifications.
