We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join a dedicated team in an all-year-round nursery provision. The role

Due to expansion a pre-school nursery is seeking a well-qualified and experienced EYFS practitioner to join a caring team as a Deputy Nursery Manager.

You will support the nursery manager/lead nursery teacher in the effective day-to-day running of the preschool, ensuring high standards of care, education and safeguarding at all times. The deputy nursery manager will be the DDSL for the setting and will provide leadership and management support to nursery staff, role-modelling outstanding practice at all times and step into the nursery manager’s role in their absence.

The ideal Nursery Manager

  • Significant experience working with 3-year olds in an early years setting
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • A clear understanding of safeguarding practices and child protection procedures
  • A relevant Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Eary Years Education
  • At least 2 years experience
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
